Sergio Fonseca, HR director at REHAU, presented the winner of the Ross Carnival programme cover competition, Martha Arbourne with her fantastic prize.
Martha won her own iPad Mini, engraved with her name, which she told the Ross Gazette she was thrilled to receive. And of course her design will be used to complete the Carnival programme, which is being published by the Ross Gazette
Eric Scarff from Kodak Express presented the second prize winner, Romerleigh Parker, who is also this year’s Carnival Princess, with her prize. She won a Canvas Print worth £55. In addition he gave each of the girls a mug printed with their own poster design.
The girls then visited Daniel Pearce at Tudor Sweets where he presented the third prize to Ellie Barnett. She won her own sweet dispenser and Daniel also gave each of the winners a voucher to spend at the sweet shop.
Martha’s colourful and patriotic design will be seen by thousands of visitors to Ross Carnival which takes place on Saturday, August 4th.
The programme will be available from various locations around the town in the lead up to the big day as well.
Martha’s parents and Grandma, who were at the presentation, told the Ross Gazette that they are very proud of her.
