MADAM, The Cards for Good Causes Shop will be open as usual in Ross this year – but at a different home.

My shop, Ross Information Service at 36 Broad Street, will be hosting the sales of the cards and gifts which raises money for at least 30 charities.

As the shop will be within other shops there will also be the opportunity to purchase other gifts including local crafts and clothing.

The shop will be open 10.30am to 4pm Monday to Saturday inclusive from Monday, October 31st to Saturday, December 12th. Just look out for the 'Father Christmas' on the street.

This is the card shop that used to be run in the Market House and it will still have the usual range to offer as well as a whole lot more.

We will be holding the official opening ceremony with the Mayor of Ross, Cllr David Ravenscroft, on Tuesday, November 1st at 10.30am. All are welcome to attend.

The shop is run by volunteers and as I still have a few gaps for cover, I would be more than happy to have a chat with anyone who can help.
