Heavenly Health and Beauty salon on Brookend Street, Ross-on-Wye is officially back up and running after recovering from the devastating impact of Storm Dennis.
Like many shops and businesses along Brookend Street which were badly affected, owner Kate Morris was forced to close the business temporarily after the floods caused damage to the salon floor.
Many of Ross’ local business are slowly recovering from the flood damage caused, and residents have been showing their support in helping with the clean up.
The floor subsequently had to be taken up and removed due to the damage from the floodwater, but with a new floor now in, the salon re-opened on Tuesday, March 3 much to the delight of Kate and her loyal clients.
Speaking about the renovations to the salon, Kate said: “The last few weeks have been such hard work and I thought at times that I wouldn’t get here but I made it and I’m so pleased with my beautiful new look salon.”
Whilst the salon on was closed, staff at Simply Stunning Hair and beauty kindly agreed to rent Kate a room at their shop on Henry Street.
Kate said: “I would like thank everyone at Simply Stunning for their help in allowing me to temporarily use a room at their salon, I am deeply grateful.
“I would also like to thank all my amazing clients for their support, love and flexibility with appointments over the last couple of weeks.
“I can’t wait to see you all.”
