A group of 14 Bridstow Brownies, two Young Leaders and four Leaders had a fantastic time at their Paddington Bear themed Pack Holiday which was held at Blackmore, Malvern during the Easter holidays.
The Brownies arrived at their very own “Paddington Station” where they were welcomed by Paddington Bear himself – aka Brown Owl!! The girls soon settled into their holiday house.
They had a lovely few days of funfilled activities including tie-dying their own t-shirts, painting ceramic wellie boots and decorating wooden boxes with decoupage. They also made their very own Paddington Bear using picture beads and Paddington Bear jigsaw puzzles.
The group even had a Paddington Bear themed party on the Thursday night. The Brownies had been busy during the day helping to prepare the food and they made the most amazing cakes. At the party they played Paddington Bear themed games – like “musical marmalade sandwiches” and wellie wanging.
Brown Owl, Claire Lines, said: “ This was one of the best Pack Holidays that I have run. The theme was great and the Brownies were amazing. Everyone had a fantastic time.”
