The residents at Bernard Hackett Court in Ross-on-Wye raised £400 for Ross Action Bus by taking part in a sponsored step-a-thon and holding a fundraising barbecue.

For their sponsored steps, the residents aimed to walk 10,000 steps, as a team effort, over five days but they smashed this amount and walked 15,000. The eldest participant in the step-a-thon was 94 years old.

Some of the residents met with the treasurer of Ross Action Bus, Jill Morgan, on Thursday, July 27th to hand over their donation. Jill commented: “What a great amount! It is so kind of them.”
