Last year, well known artist Rupert Aker came to paint for the Wye Valley Art Society. He gave a wonderful and inspiring demonstration of palette knife painting using oils. Two large and beautiful landscapes emerged in less than two hours, as Rupert vigorously swirled paint around the canvases. And now he is coming back. Rupert will be demonstrating the same techniques to the Wye Valley Art Society, and to anyone else who would like to watch, on March 13th at 7.15pm in The Shire Hall, Monmouth.
All are welcome to see this amazing artist. There will be small charge of £3 for non members, who will be very welcome to come and swell the numbers, and who will be rewarded, not only with a super demonstration, but with tea, coffee and biscuits.
