A HEDGEHOG Fayre is being held at St Mary’s Church in Ross where people can learn all about the prickly creature.

The Hedgehog Fayre runs from 11.30am to 3.30pm on August 3 and is an event that is all about hedgehogs with experts from local hedgehog groups, the Herefordshire Nature Trust and National Landscapes (formerly Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty).

There will be an opportunity to meet Archie the hedgehog.

St Mary’s Church itself has a ‘hunt the hedgehog trail’ with hedgehogs carved into a number of the memorials.

There will be storytelling, music and stalls to make it a proper fayre.

The Crown & Sceptre’s Motley Hog Brewery will be providing the bar and smoked pork rolls, and a barbecue while Mrs Tiggy Winkles Tea shop will also be on hand.
