A High Street shop remains closed after an overnight burglary.
Superdrug, in Market Place, Ross, was broken into overnight on Sunday, with the offenders escaping with a quantity of merchandise.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said that they were alerted to the break-in at about 4.45am yesterday.
“Entry was forced via the front door and merchandise was reported stolen,” the spokesman said.
As part of the investigation, a car was subsequently stopped by police near junction four of the M5.
A 44-year-old man from Birmingham was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
He remains in custody.
Superdrug remains closed this morning, with a note on the door apologising for any inconvenience.
It adds: “Please bear with us.
“We are aiming to reopen as soon as possible.”
