Police have closed a road in the Wye Valley following a "pre-planned" operation involving armed police.
The operation is centered at a property off Forge Road which leads west from the village of Tintern.
A helicopter was called in for support Sunday and again today (Monday Jun 12).
Local residents report a heavy police presence on the scene since around 6.30 this morning
