In a tense afternoon on the A49, emergency services, including the Midlands Air Ambulance, were summoned to a collision in Much Birch, between Hereford and Ross-on-Wye. The incident involved a van crashing into a wall.
The road faced a temporary closure as the teams worked diligently to manage the situation and ensure the safety of all involved.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service detailed the incident: "At precisely 1.26pm, we were alerted to a van that had met with an unfortunate accident on the A49 in Much Birch. Our team, comprising of an ambulance, a paramedic officer, and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham, was immediately dispatched."
Upon their arrival, the emergency crew found a female patient at the scene. Thankfully, her injuries were assessed and found not to be of a severe nature. She was subsequently transported to Hereford County Hospital for further medical attention via a land ambulance.
