A car and an ambulance were involved in a road traffic collision on the A49 in Peterstow this morning (Thursday, August 31st).
At approximately 10.17am, the collision took place near to a junction.
A spokesperson for the West Midlands Ambulance Service told the Ross Gazette that the ambulance had been travelling on the A49 towards Hereford, taking a patient to the County Hospital.
While no-one was injured in the collision, a second ambulance was sent to the scene to transport the patient on to hospital, as the first ambulance was damaged in the crash.
The incident remains ongoing and the West Midlands Ambulance Service are reviewing the CCTV footage of the crash; all ambulances are equipped with cameras and black boxes, which record all the time.
